Opening a support ticket seems to be quiet a challenge,
Hopefully someone can help me here.
I can connect over 3G to gizmo using my android phone
with sipdroid. i.e sip registration works flawlessly.
Problem is as soon as i try to make a call, i get an
IVR which directs me to go to gizmo and add more callout
$. I already have more than $10 credit and i can make
a call using the same account from my desktop or ATA.
Is there something i need to activate to get it to work
from sipdroid. |

Didn't sipdroid block Gizmo5? |

Like I said registration to gizmo is successful. I tested by entering
the wrong password/username and it actually failed. sipdroid version
is 1.5.
So the IVR telling me to go gizmo to deposit $$ must be from gizmo. |

Did you add your mobile phone number to your Gizmo5 account (my.gizmo5.com)? Maybe Gizmo5 is using callback for such connections. Just an idea. |

| I am seeing the same thing with sipdroid. I am able to make toll free calls from sipdroid through gizmo5, but if I make any other call I get the same IVR. I tried installing the Gizmo5 desktop application and can make any call from it so my account seems to be working ok, just not from sipdroid. |

| If you have the Caller ID number filled in in Sipdroid preferences, try to remove it. I experienced the same exact symptoms, and everything started working fine after I removed the caller ID number in Sipdroid prefs. I can't guarantee that you are having the same issue, but if yo do have caller ID set, unset it and that might help. Gizmo5 ticket# 81465. |
